Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XLV
Adam and Eve; and then the Fall.
Adam and Eve; and then the Fall.
Man had to be born
Endlessly anew, but always the same man;
Essentially, there is but one human being on earth.
Only one, put there in order to contemplate God —
In order to build a path from nothingness to the All.
Adam et Eve ; puis la chute.
Adam et Eve ; puis la chute.
L’homme : il devait naître à nouveau —
Indéfiniment à nouveau, toujours le même homme ;
Endlos aufs Neue, stets der gleiche Mensch;
