Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-V
For the sage, this earthly life is both
For the sage, this earthly life is both
Harder and easier than it is for others:
Harder, because he has a celestial nature;
Easier, precisely because of the consolation this
And because he sees that all things praise the Creator.
Blessèd be he who honors God in the sage.
Plus difficile, car il est de nature céleste ;
Schwerer, weil er von himmlischer Natur;
Leichter, weil eben dieses Trost gewährt —
Und weil die Dinge ihren Schöpfer preisen.
Gesegnet sei, wer Gott im Weisen ehrt.
