That the worth of the saint and the sage belongs to the Lord.

“Guru is Brahma” does not mean that the man is God —

It means that, from afar, God gives Himself to man.

Only God is good — this is true and also not true;

But the emphasis is on the Divinity.

La valeur du saint et du sage appartient au Seigneur.

Guru-Brahma ne signifie pas que l’homme est Dieu —

Mais que Dieu Se donne à l’homme de loin.

Dieu seul est bon — à la fois vrai et non ;

Mais le poids est du côté de la Divinité.

Des Heilgen, Weisen Wert gehört dem Herrn.

Guru Brahma heißt nicht, der Mensch sei Gott —

Sondern Gott gibt dem Menschen Sich von fern.

Nur Gott ist gut — es ist wahr, und auch nicht;

Doch auf der Göttlichkeit liegt das Gewicht.
