Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-LXXXIX
Destiny wills that thou walk on highest peaks;
Destiny wills that thou walk on highest peaks;
And so it may happen that thou wonderest:
Where is the homeland that my heart dreams
And thou complainest to the Most High.
But what thou art, thou must be it and live it;
And what thou bringest, it must be brought to the world.
Man must be resigned to the Path and to Duty —
After the night God lets the morning dawn.
Le destin veut que tu marches sur un haut créneau ;
Le destin veut que tu marches sur un haut créneau ;
Mais ce que tu es, tu dois l’être et le vivre ;
Das Schicksal will, dass du auf hoher Zinne wandelst;
Das Schicksal will, dass du auf hoher Zinne wandelst;
Doch was du bist, du musst es sein und leben;
