Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-CXXIX
The doctrine of merit is to be found
The doctrine of merit is to be found
In the parable of the entrusted talents.
Thou canst not give the Lord, or thyself, anything better
Than, deep within the nothing, to think of the All.
It is a sin not to fulfill
What the angels do when they sing of the Most High.
