Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XLIII
One talks of “putting the cart before the horse”—
One talks of “putting the cart before the horse”—
This is precisely what crude pragmatism does;
It thinks that twisting things is philosophy.
I call it simply willful satanism.
To invert everything that is natural
Is to collaborate with the devil’s ruse.
Cela, je l’appelle simplement satanisme buté ;
Ich nenn es einfach sturen Satanismus;
Alles umkehren, was natürlich ist,
Heißt mitarbeiten an des Bösen List.
