Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-LXXXV
Vairagyânanda — “Blessèd through holy impassibility” —
Vairagyânanda — “Blessèd through holy impassibility” —
This is the name of someone who wrote a book on yoga;
The book I have forgotten, but the magic of the name
Has ever remained in my memory.
Vairagya: what is past should fascinate thee no longer;
What lies in the future, is in the hands of Mahâdeva.
Vairâgyânanda — « Bienheureux par impassibilité » —
Vairâgyânanda — « Bienheureux par impassibilité » —
S’appelait quelqu’un qui écrivit un livre sur le yoga ;
J’oubliai le livre, mais la magie du nom
M’est constamment restée en mémoire.
Vairâgya : ce qui est passé ne doit plus te fasciner ;
Ce qui est à venir est entre les mains du Mahâdeva.
Vairāgyānanda — “Durch den Gleichmut selig” —
Vairāgyānanda — „Durch den Gleichmut selig“ —
Hieß jemand, der ein Yoga-Buch geschrieben;
Das Buch vergaß ich, doch des Namens Zauber
Ist dauernd im Gedächtnis mir geblieben.
Vairāgya: nicht soll, was verging, dich weiter blenden;
Was in der Zukunft, liegt in Mahādevas Händen.
