Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XCIV

Who art thou, man, to criticize creation?

Who art thou, man, to criticize creation?

For what is written, is what counts;

Where there are men, there must also be injustice —

Our earth should not quake because of this.

Praise be to the Creator, above all worlds.

Qui es-tu, homme, pour blâmer la Création,

Qui es-tu, homme, pour blâmer la Création,

Car ce qui est écrit, cela doit compter ;

Denn was geschrieben steht, das hat zu gelten;
