World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes I-III-CXXXVI
Grieve not if thou hast thoughts
Grieve not if thou hast thoughts
Thou wishest not to have; they are woven
Into the fabric of our soul, but far more often
They are whispered by the Enemy, to place on us burden
And pain. Say: God! and all is gone.
Vom Feinde eingeflüstert, uns zur Last
Und Pein. Sprich: Gott! Und alles ist zerstoben.
