World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes I-III-CXLVI
The Stella Matutina is the star
The Stella Matutina is the star
Which, with its golden glow, promises a good day,
And, to the sailor who looks heavenwards,
Shows the right direction on the sea.
The Star of Truth: if thou hast awoken,
Thou wilt remember the Great One
Who is all, who enlightens and delivers thee;
God grant that He may shine within thy heart.
Qui est tout, t’illumine et te sauve ;
Das alles ist, dir leuchtet, dich erlöst;
Geb Gott, dass Es in deinem Herzen scheine.
