World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes I-III-CXXIX

“The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” —

“The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak” —

“Commit thy way unto the Lord, and He shall bring it to pass.”

In life, there are labors, struggles, burdens:

Thou mayest well be weak — let God be thy strength.

« Confie ta Voie à Dieu, Lui qui la mènera à bien » ;

„Befiehl Gott deinen Weg, Ihm, der es schafft“;

Im Leben gibt es Mühen, Kämpfe, Lasten:

Du magst wohl schwach sein — Gott sei deine Kraft.
