On tient souvent le petit pour inexistant —
Toute chose a du sens devant la Face de Dieu.

Im Großen, jedoch auch in Kleinigkeiten;
Man soll, auch in des Alltags Drum und Dran,
Dem Segen Gottes einen Weg bereiten.
Vom Kleinen meint man oft, es gäb es nicht —
Alles hat Sinn vor Gottes Angesicht.
