World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-XVI

Dream-veil life — who has woven thee

Dream-veil life — who has woven thee

And brought thee into the day of existence?

Who has conceived thy dance, thy being —

Who has kindled the soul’s temporality;

Who has spun the threads of thine illusion?

Dream-veil ego — who has made thee thus,

As the Self wills? I know not;

Yet I know well that dreams must be —

Life is cosmic poetry.

Qui a actualisé la temporalité de l’âme ;

Que le veut l’Ipséité ? Je l’ignore ;

Wer hat dich, deinen Tanz, dein Sein ersonnen —

Wer hat der Seele Zeitlichkeit entfacht;

Wer hat die Fäden deines Trugs gesponnen?

Traumschleier Ich — wer hat dich so gemacht

Wie es die Selbstheit will? Ich weiß es nicht;
