Autumn Leaves & The Ring-Keys

In holy silence, God-consecrated stillness;

Another time, tell thyself that the Now of God

Favors activity — be thou His Will.

Understand that God is the Center within thee —

Abide motionless in the inwardness of Peace;

Understand, too, that the Lord is Mercy —

The one who firmly trusts shall gain salvation.

And then, yea, above all: God is One,

For there are not two Ultimate Realities.

So be thou one in the One, without “I” —

And may grace lead thee to the Self.

There is but one path to the Highest All;

Yet its Light is many-faceted — like a crystal.

Dans le saint silence, calme consacré à Dieu ;

Une autre fois : dis-toi que le Présent de Dieu

Accentue l’activité — sois Sa Volonté.

Comprends que Dieu est le Centre en toi —

Demeure immobile dans l’Intérieur de la Paix ;

Comprends aussi que le Seigneur est Miséricorde —

Qui fait ferme confiance obtiendra le salut.

Et puis, et même par dessus tout : Dieu est Un,

Car il n’y a point deux ultimes Réalités.

Ainsi sois un dans l’Un, sans ego —

Et puisse la grâce te raccompagner au Soi.

Il n’y a qu’une Voie vers le Suprême Tout ;

Mais multiple est Sa Lumière — tel un cristal.

In heilgem Schweigen, gottgeweihter Stille;

Ein andermal: sag dir, dass Gottes Jetzt

Die Tätigkeit betont — sei du sein Wille.

Versteh, dass Gott die Mitte ist in dir —

Verharre reglos in des Friedens Innen;

Versteh auch, dass der Herr Erbarmen ist —

Wer fest vertrauet wird das Heil gewinnen.

Und dann, ja selbst vor allem: Gott ist Eins,

Denn es gibt nicht zwei letzte Wirklichkeiten.

So sei du eins im Einen, ohne Ich —

Und mög die Gnade dich zum Selbst geleiten.

Es gibt nur Einen Pfad zum Höchsten All;

Doch mehrfach ist sein Licht — wie ein Kristall.
