Autumn Leaves & The Ring-To Distinguish

In every human soul there are poles

In every human soul there are poles

Which complement each other and live in harmony.

In the wicked person oppositions are at work

Which, not knowing each other, draw apart.

A childlike nature often belongs to the wise man,

And strong may be the seemingly frail woman.

But with two souls to deceive other people,

This is — in vain — the pastime of the wicked.

A fissured and bad ego may injure us —

The noble soul will reward us doubly.
