Adastra and Stella Maris: Poems by Frithjof Schuon-The Proof
It has been asked — what is the proof
It has been asked — what is the proof
That there is Paradise? Look at the splendor
Of blossoms and flowers: were there no Paradise,
God would not have made beauty!
This is no mere opinion: it is
Things themselves are infallible thought.
I am in them and they are in me;
It is they who bestow on me their truth.
You may understand, or not
The heart can see the Essence in outward signs.
Je suis en elles, et elles sont en moi ;
Ich bin in ihnen, und sie sind in mir;
