Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XXXIII
In India, it is often said that Japa-Yoga
In India, it is often said that Japa-Yoga
Always brings blessings — that the Râma-Mantra
Is a miraculous means that cannot but help.
This is not so, for Shrð Râma can also show His wrath;
The fault lies in man, and not in Japa’s sweetness.
But God is free, and good in His
What He decides, only He knows.
Il n’en est pas ainsi, car Shrî Râma peut être courroucé ;
Dem ist nicht so, denn zürnen kann Shr? R?ma;
Was Er entscheidet, weiß Er selber nur.
