This is the path to highest peace.

I do what my will can;

I will what my mind has been able to know:

The sacred meaning of earthly life.

I know and will that which I am.

For: “I am small, my heart is pure” —

My very being dwells in God’s Will.

Le sens sacré de la vie terrestre.

Je sais et veux Ce que je suis.

Car : « Je suis petit, mon cœur est pur » —

Mon être demeure dans la Volonté de Dieu.

Dies ist der Weg zur höchsten Ruh.

Ich tu das, was mein Wollen kann;

Ich will das, was mein Geist gewann:

Des Erdenlebens heilgen Sinn.

Ich weiß und will Das, was ich bin.

Denn: „Ich bin klein, mein Herz ist rein“ –

In Gottes Willen wohnt mein Sein.
