En-Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XVII
I am too tired to think of God,
I am too tired to think of God,
Someone complained, I have no more strength,
What should I do? What shouldst thou do?
Thou shouldst repose in the fragrance of far-off God-remembrance.
Just as the pariah, who did not dare
To enter the sanctuary, nevertheless became blessed,
Because from afar he contemplated the temple’s roof.
