Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-CLIII
The vehicle — in the world — of the Absolute
The vehicle — in the world — of the Absolute
Is relative like the world itself;
But his Divine Word, which is absolute,
Causes the Absolute to descend upon him:
“Guru is Brahma” — because the bearer of Divinity,
Through Brahma, illumines all darkness.
Il est relatif comme le monde ;
Er ist verhältnismäßig wie die Welt;
Jedoch sein göttlich Wort, das Absolute,
Macht, dass das Unbedingte auf ihn fällt:
Guru ist Brahma — weil der Gottheit Träger
Durch Brahma alle Finsternis erhellt.
