Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-III
God’s Word is like the globe of the earth:
God’s Word is like the globe of the earth:
We are made for the earth; for us it is a protection.
Starry space is an icy night;
So too is the deadly poison of doubt — one wants to flee,
To find a homeland, to go far
To find oneself, but one knows not where.
God has chosen the earth for us;
We were not born on Jupiter.
Mother faith and Mother
They remove from the soul the pain of fear.
Dieu a choisi pour nous cette terre ;
Gott hat für uns die Erde auserkoren;
