Vacare Deo— then involvement with things:

This constitutes our earthly life.

And then the combination of both possibilities —

This fabric must also exist.

To see in God and to see God in our seeing;

And so build for oneself a better soul.

Et puis combinaison des deux possibilités —

Voir en Dieu ; découvrir Dieu dans notre vision —

Et ainsi se construire une âme meilleure.

Vacare Deo — dann Beschäftigung

Mit Dingen: unser Erdenleben.

Und dann Verbindung beider Möglichkeiten —

Auch dies Gewebe muss es geben.

Sehen in Gott; erblicken Gott im Schauen —

Und so sich eine bessre Seele bauen.
