Thou findest world-negation and God-affirmation

In the words: lâ ilâha illa ’Llâh.

Then follows a “yes” for God’s act of creation,

In the words: Muhammadun Ras˙lu ’Llâh.

Therein lies everything: our world is appearance,

For God alone is Pure Reality;

But the world is a ray from God’s Being.

Tu trouves la négation du monde et l’affirmation de Dieu

Dans les mots : Lâ ilâha illa ’Llâh.

Puis suit un oui pour l’œuvre divine de la création :

La parole : Muhammadun Rasûlu ’Llâh.

Tout est là : notre monde est apparence

Parce que Dieu seul est la Pure Réalité ;

Mais le monde est un rayon de l’Être de Dieu.

Du findest Weltverneinung, Gottbejahung

Im Worte: Lā ilāha illa ’Llāh.

Dann folgt ein Ja für Gottes Schöpfungswerk:

Das Wort: Muhammadun Rasūlu ’Llāh.

Darin liegt alles: unsre Welt ist Schein

Weil Gott die Reine Wirklichkeit allein;

Doch ist die Welt ein Strahl von Gottes Sein.
