Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-V
The Creator clothed the wide world
The Creator clothed the wide world
In a garment of enigmas;
Beauty seeks to pierce the illusion of existence,
Just as a meteor cuts through the night.
Truth, a ray of the Godhead,
Has rent the darkness of our soul;
Happy the one in whose heart the light of the Most-High
Reigns like a ray of the morning sun.
Le Créateur a habillé le vaste monde terrestre
Le Créateur a habillé le vaste monde terrestre
D’un vêtement d’énigmes ;
A pourfendu l’obscurité de notre âme ;
In ein Gewand der Rätsel eingekleidet;
Hat unsrer Seele Dunkelheit gespaltet;
