Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XCIX
Why repeat things endlessly?
Why repeat things endlessly?
We do not do this; consider a mountain in the country:
Its many different aspects are without
Yet it is one, and thou walkest round its rim.
A single word branches out, it becomes
In a thousand words, the meaning is but one.
Thou canst see the same thing in the religions:
The true wishes to dwell in different places.
Wahres will an verschiednen Orten wohnen.
