Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XXXIX
The naïvety of former times is quite astounding —
The naïvety of former times is quite
How easily one thundered at one’s interlocutor.
One made no effort to understand
What, fundamentally, the other sought to
One could not see one’s own self in the other.
Certainly, mankind cannot become more
Nevertheless experience does exist on earth.
