Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-CV
Âtmâ and Mâyâ — a divine pair;
Âtmâ and Mâyâ — a divine pair;
Purusha and Prákriti: primordial Idea
And primordial matter. Likewise Spirit and
Everywhere these two, wherever I look,
Ready for love and manifestation.
Within the One, duality is deeply contained;
The One wills to unfold its All in a
The limitlessness of the Absolute.
Âtmâ et Mâyâ — couple divin ;
Âtmâ et Mâyâ — couple divin ;
Purusha et Prakriti : idée primordiale
Et materia prima. De même esprit et âme —
Toujours et partout le deux, à perte de vue,
Disposé à l’amour et à la manifestation.
La dualité est profondément contenue dans l’Un ;
L’Un veut en couple déployer son Tout —
L’illimitation de l’Absolu.
Ātmā und Māyā — göttlich Ehepaar;
Ātmā und Māyā — göttlich Ehepaar;
Purusha und Prakriti: Uridee
Und Urmaterie. So auch Geist und Seel —
Allüberall das Zwei, so weit ich seh,
Zur Liebe und zur Kundgebung bereit.
Im Einen ist die Zweiheit tief enthalten;
Das Eine will im Paar sein All entfalten —
Des Unbedingten Grenzenlosigkeit.
