Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-LIII
When thou hearest the name Krishna, thou thinkest not
When thou hearest the name Krishna, thou thinkest not
Of him who sang the Bhagavad-Gita;
Nor of him whose divine form
Suddenly revealed itself in the space of things;
Thou thinkest of the one who loved the gopis —
And who danced with them all day and all night.
A celui qui chanta la Bhagavadgîtâ ;
Pénétra subitement dans l’espace des choses ;
An den, der die Bhagavadgītā sang;
Auch nicht an den, dess göttliche Gestalt
Urplötzlich in den Raum der Dinge drang;
Sondern an jenen, der die Gopis liebte —
Mit ihnen tanzte tag-und nächtelang.
