Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-LIX
The noble man wishes to fulfill his duty —
The noble man wishes to fulfill his
He lives in God, he is “twice born.”
Not so the fool — whoever wants pleasure
Only for pleasure’s sake, has lost himself.
For if thou wishest to live, then breathe God’s Will.
