Woman was not created in order to be man;
Woman was not created in order to be man;
It is because she should not be so that God created her.
And yet the sexes are not mere
They are One being that bows down before God.
Man has his mission: fighting the dragon;
And woman has hers: making others happy.
La femme n’est pas créée pour être un homme ;

Pour cette raison même Dieu l’a appelée à la vie.
Et pourtant les sexes ne sont pas simplement deux —
Ils sont une seule nature qui s’incline devant Dieu.
L’homme a sa mission : le combat du dragon ;
La femme a la sienne : rendre d’autres heureux.

Weil sie’s nicht sein soll, hat sie Gott erzeugt.
Und doch sind die Geschlechter nicht bloß Zwei —
Sie sind Ein Wesen, das vor Gott sich beugt.
