There is perfection in this world;
There is perfection in this world;
But remember: this perfection is not the same
As that of the Most High, for: “Only God is good.”
An earthly value does not belong to Heaven’s realm.
In this world, one can say many things,
But often wonders if one should dare to speak.

Que celle du Très-Haut, car : « Dieu seul est bon. »
Ce qui vaut pour la terre n’est pas du Royaume céleste.
On peut dire tant de choses en ce monde,
Et on se demande souvent si on devrait l’oser.
Es gibt Vollkommenheit in dieser Welt;
Es gibt Vollkommenheit in dieser Welt;
Jedoch bedenke: sie ist nicht die Gleiche
Wie die des Höchsten, denn: „Nur Gott ist gut.“
Was Erdenwert, ist nicht vom Himmelreiche.
Man kann in dieser Welt so manches sagen
Und frägt sich oft, ob man es sollte wagen.
