Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XXXI
All-Possibility: the Divine willed to mirror Itself
All-Possibility: the Divine willed to mirror Itself
In the animal — and so we came to be.
God created man in His own
We are half heavenly spark and half animal.
God shows Himself in man’s countenance;
Neither animal — nor earth — profanes this miracle.
Dieu se montre dans la face de l’homme ;
Gott zeigt sich in des Menschen Angesicht;
