Vairagyânanda is a lofty name;
Vairagyânanda is a lofty name;
“The one who is blessed through equanimity of spirit” —
Behold how the Highest Truth confers peace,
Something the turmoil of the world never gives to the heart.
The jîvan-mukta, to whom things are indifferent,
Is like the swan on a lotus-pond.
Vairagyânanda est un nom élevé ;

« Le bienheureux par impassibilité d’esprit » — vois
Comme la suprême Vérité confère la paix ;
L’agitation du monde au cœur jamais ne la procure.
