World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes I-III-LXXXVI
In the sky above there is a doctrine:
In the sky above there is a doctrine:
Its deep blue is peace, but also fervor;
Sometimes the sky is white, and sometimes
At every moment it bespeaks the Sovereign Good.
The sky, together with the sun and the rain,
Remind thee, when God wills, of His benediction;
Likewise at night: there is the sea of
Infinity in the remoteness of the Supreme.
Son bleu profond est paix, néanmoins ferveur ;
Te rappelle, quand Dieu le veut, la Bénédiction divine ;
Et de même la nuit : il y a l’océan des étoiles —
Infinitude dans le lointain du Très-Haut.
Im Himmel über uns ist eine Lehre:
Im Himmel über uns ist eine Lehre:
Sein tiefes Blau ist Friede, dennoch Glut;
Mahnt dich, wann Gott es will, an Gottes Segen;
