Salâm alaikum and shalm alēkhem —

Heaven is peace; human history is strife.

Peace radiates from Pure Being

And destroys the folly of this world.

Unrest and vain triviality the evil one wants —

Peace was before the din of the world.

Salâm alaïkum et Schalôm alêkhem —

Paix est le Ciel ; conflit est l’Histoire du monde.

La Paix rayonne du Pur Être

Et réduit la folie de ce monde à néant.

Le Malin veut agitation et vaines broutilles —

La Paix était avant le vacarme du monde.

Salām alaikum und Schalōm alēkhem —

Friede ist Himmel; Streit ist Weltgeschichte.

Der Friede strahlet aus dem Reinen Sein

Und macht die Torheit dieser Welt zunichte.

Unrast und eitlen Kleinkram will der Böse —

Der Friede war bevor der Welt Getöse.
