World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-CI
Divinity as Beyond-Being is impersonal;
Divinity as Beyond-Being is impersonal;
It is personal when, as man, thou standest before It:
When thou, with needs great or small,
Entreatest thy Lord, Creator and Judge.
Thou contemplatest the Impersonal in the Intellect;
The Intellect, like What it sees, is
It knows, from the beginning, what thou knowest not.
La Divinité est, en tant que Sur-Être, impersonnelle ;
La Divinité est, en tant que Sur-Être, impersonnelle ;
Tu contemples l’Impersonnel dans l’Esprit ;
Die Gottheit ist als Ursein unpersönlich;
Die Gottheit ist als Ursein unpersönlich;
Du schaust das Unpersönliche im Geist;
Er ist, wie das Geschaute, unerschaffen —
Er weiß seit Anbeginn, was du nicht weißt.
