Space and time: stars great and small
Wander in time through the expanse of existence.
Space and time: in them are becoming and
For this is the fate of all living beings;
But one day, when the Most High wills,
The coming and going also will cease.
Before God, even the largest worlds are
The final word belongs to Pure Being.

Parcourent, dans le temps, l’étendue de l’existence.
Espace, temps : en eux, devenir et disparition —
Car ceci est le lot de tout être vivant ;
Mais un jour, quand le Très-Haut le voudra,
Les allées et venues s’arrêteront aussi.
Devant Dieu, même les plus grands mondes sont petits —
Le Dernier Mot appartient au Pur Être.
