World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-LXXV
Why is the soul full of vain images,
Why is the soul full of vain images,
When its happiness lies in the Great One.
Happy is he to whose soul, in the night,
The blessing of the Supreme Name has come;
Whom God’s Grace cradles into deep
Who thought of God — and of whom God has thought.
La Béatitude dans le Nom Suprême est venue ;
Qui a pensé à Dieu — à qui Dieu a pensé.
Die Seligkeit im Höchsten Namen kam;
