Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-LXXXV
God-remembrance is firstly the truth
God-remembrance is firstly the truth
Of the divine; then it is the great stillness
Beyond the earthly world; then it is the word
Of him who prays and, in it, the Will of God;
Then comes peace — a blissful
And then faith glowing within.
Firstly wisdom, which means the True —
And then Selfhood, which attracts us inwards,
And unites us with Truth on the path of Grace.
De l’orant, et en ce Mot la Volonté de Dieu ;
Des Beters und in ihm der Gottheit Wille;
