Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-XCVI

Warmth pertains to light;

Warmth pertains to light;

Love pertains to knowledge; for if knowledge

Has not love, it lacks humanity —

The thinker must not separate himself from the human.

And conversely: if love excludes truth,

It becomes foolish and passionately blind —

Love too needs light: it is true to itself

Only when light and warmth become One Love.
