Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. I-VI-CLXXIII
Life — a mixture of good and bad;
Life — a mixture of good and bad;
Evil cannot be ignored.
From whatever direction the winds may
Man cannot dispute with his destiny.
To see the good means gratitude;
When the bad depresses thee too much,
Think first of God, then of the grace
That makes thee happy amidst the dream of life.
La vie — un mélange de bon et de mauvais ;
La vie — un mélange de bon et de mauvais ;
Voir le bien signifie gratitude ;
Das Leben — ein Gemisch von Gutem, Schlechtem;
Das Leben — ein Gemisch von Gutem, Schlechtem;
Das Gute sehn bedeutet Dankbarkeit;
Wenn dich das Arge allzu hart bedrückt,
So denke erst an Gott — dann an die Gnad
Die dich in deinem Lebenstraum beglückt.
