Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XXVI
What is the naught? It has reality only
What is the naught? It has reality only
As a tendency to corrupt the Good;
There is no naught in itself; what does not exist
Cannot have a consequence, and cannot inherit anything.
The tendency to corrupt can be defined:
You can see inward nothingness in the form of pride.
Where there are good qualities, there is Being —
On a shining ray from Being, the soul can be happy.
Qu’est-ce que le néant ? Il n’a de réalité
Qu’est-ce que le néant ? Il n’a de réalité
Que comme tendance à corrompre le Bien ;
Was ist das Nichts? Wirklichkeit hat es nur
Was ist das Nichts? Wirklichkeit hat es nur
Als die Tendenz, das Gute zu verderben;
