Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-XLVII
Autumn — it slips downwards into the snow
Autumn — it slips downwards into the snow
And flees; one could expect nothing else
After all the tired leaves swept away by the wind.
But that spring should come — this is the miracle;
The garden will bloom like a gift from heaven.
Thus it is with the soul that discovers God —
When after all the hardships of the world,
God’s grace awakens it to His light.
Mais que le printemps vienne — voilà le miracle ;
Doch dass der Frühling kommt — dies ist das Wunder;
