Songs without Names: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Vol. VII-XII-CV

Christians and Saracens fought each other

Christians and Saracens fought each other

To death — and did so because “God willed it.”

Yes and no; God takes men as they are.

Of course He favors peace in truth —

But He is not blind to the flaws of men.
