Existence is both being and nothingness —
Existence is both being and
The Lord has willed me, so I must will myself.
He is the Creator, so I must be creation;
I have no right to bear a grudge against being.
All-Possibility wishes to mirror Itself in
Thou canst not close thy heart to love.
Existence est Être et néant à la fois — le Seigneur

M’a voulu, aussi dois-je mêmement me vouloir.
Il est le Créateur, je dois être création ;
Je n’ai pas le droit d’en vouloir à l’Être.
La Toute-Possibilité veut se mirer dans les âmes —
Tu ne peux verrouiller ton cœur à l’amour.

Hat mich gewollt, so muss auch ich mich wollen.
Er ist der Schöpfer, ich muss Schöpfung sein;
Ich habe nicht das Recht, dem Sein zu grollen.
Allmöglichkeit will sich in Seelen spiegeln —
Du kannst dein Herz der Liebe nicht verriegeln.
