Should man limit himself to being patient?

He must indeed be man, what lesson should he draw?

His thinking and acting, he must offer to the Most High.

L’homme doit-il s’en tenir à la patience ?

Il doit bien être homme ; quelle leçon en tirer ?

Pensée et action, qu’il les donne au Très-Haut.

Soll sich der Mensch auf die Geduld beschränken?

Er muss wohl Mensch sein; welche Lehre ziehn?

Gedanke, Tun, soll er dem Höchsten schenken.
