Here, amidst the noise of things, man should know

Here, amidst the noise of things, man should know

That God Most High says “no” to what is idle —

So thou too must say “no” to outward things

That plague thee inwardly.

The wind blows — see, the dust has gone —

After all injustice, the “yes” of the Most High is victor.

De même toi aussi dis ton non à ce qui

De l’extérieur te tourmente à l’intérieur.

Le vent souffle — vois, la poussière n’est plus là —

Après toute iniquité vainc le oui du Très-Haut.

So sag auch du dein Nein zu dem, was dich

Von außen her in deinem Innern plagt.

Der Wind bläst — sieh, der Staub ist nicht mehr da —

Nach aller Unbill siegt des Höchsten Ja.
