World Wheel: Poems by Frithjof Schuon Volumes IV-VII-LVI
Sometimes a kind of sadness enters our soul —
Sometimes a kind of sadness enters our
There are indeed always reasons to grieve.
Happy are those who courageously stand at the Center,
Where other friends of God have stood before
Where God’s Words of consolation do not fade away.
Manchmal kommt Traurigkeit in unsre Seele —
Manchmal kommt Traurigkeit in unsre Seele —
Gründe zum Grämen sind wohl stets vorhanden.
Glücklich, die wacker in der Mitte stehen,
Wo vordem andre Gottesfreunde standen —
Wo Gottes Trostesworte nicht vergehen.
