I let myself be penetrated by the words of the Veda.
Only in the wake of Vedantic doctrine
Could I bring my own message to the
The Word of God, that I hear within me.
Ma patrie est l’Inde — car c’est déjà tôt que

Je me suis laissé pénétrer par la parole du Véda.
Ce n’est que sur les traces de la doctrine védantique
Que j’ai pu apporter mon propre message au monde —
La Parole de Dieu, que j’entends en mon Intérieur.
Mein Heimatland ist Indien — denn schon früh

Ließ ich mich von des Veda Wort durchdringen.
Nur auf den Spuren der Vedānta-Lehre
Konnt ich der Welt die eigne Botschaft bringen —
Das Gotteswort, das ich im Innern höre.
