Satyân nâsti paro dharmah:
Nothing can surpass the Truth —
No law, no right, and no desire;
Without Truth, nothing should be done.
And this holds good for thee as well;
Truth far transcends thine ego.
Put thyself on the side of Truth
And break the spirit of the false.
Ego and earth — are narrowness;
Spirit and God — are expanse.
By narowness do not be ruled;
Choose, O man, the side of the good.
The earth is in thy blood;
Still more the Spirit of the Sovereign Good.

Satyân nâsti paro
Rien ne peut être supérieur à la Vérité —
Ni loi, ni droit, ni
Sans Vérité, rien ne peut aller.
Cela vaut pour toi-même
La Vérité transcende ton ego.
Mets-toi du côté du Vrai,
Et brise l’esprit du mensonge.
Moi et la terre — c’est l’étroitesse ;
L’Esprit et Dieu — c’est l’amplitude.
Que l’étroitesse ne te domine
Choisis, ô homme, le bon côté.
La terre est dans ton
Bien plus encore l’Esprit du Souverain Bien.

Nichts kann über Wahrheit
Kein Gesetz, kein Recht, kein Wollen;
Ohne Wahrheit darf nichts gehen.
Dieses gilt auch für dich selber;
Wahrheit übersteigt dein Ich.
Stell dich auf die Seit des Wahren,
Und den Lügengeist zerbrich.
Ich und Erde — ist die Enge;
Geist und Gottheit — ist die Weite.
Enge darf dich nicht beherrschen;
Wähle, Mensch, die gute Seite.
Erde ist in deinem Blute;
Mehr noch Geist vom Höchsten Gute.
